BNet, the only vidya game forum where sigs are pointless.

I have one for loads of genres, but overall it has to be The Wall by Pink Floyd. Completely faultless for me.

Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast

Good, but overrated. The worst of the first seven IMO.

Swans - Holy Money / The Seer
Saw them live a while back

It was intense

FFFFFFFFFFFFF

Im beyond jealous man.
Dude it was indescribable.

When they first came on they started playing this strange string instrument which sent this metallic wailing noise meandering all around the room and through your head only for you to get knocked back by this sudden wall of noise that they dropped on without warning. Seriously it was like a physical weight it was so loud.

Coward was an incredible performance, each beat was like a punch in the chest. The Seer and Apostate were both played out to about an hour and final drum pounding was so bloody heavy I saw it fill the decibel meter on the sound control screen right up.

I was deaf for about 24 hours afterwards I should add.

He threw down a glove you made the mistake
Of picking it up now you're gone
The choosing of guns or fighting with swords
The choice of weapons is done
He'll tear you apart as soon as you start
You know you don't have a chance.

Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast

Good, but overrated. The worst of the first seven IMO.

Not really, it got some of Maiden's best tracks such as 22AA, Children of the damned, Total Eclipse and Hallowed Be Thy Name.

In excess of 3 hours

To get an idea of what it was like imagine getting hit in the face with a shovel on every beat

Someone made a handy flowchart

Soundtracks For The Blind, Filth and Public Castration are all absolutely brilliant.

The Seer is also good but I wouldn't particularly bother with My Father Will Guide Me

Good luck with that, they're all pretty draining.

Filth is a bit less so I guess although it is a bit more like being hit with a shovel.

That said, Public Castration is like being crushed in a really slow and really scary car compactor.
