Talking about Sweden is an ultrabannable offense.

Too bad being completely and utterly wrong isn't a bannable offense.

So what if you had a 'game', but all of the NPCs were actors instead of scripted AI?

You invite a person, or a group of people, into this 'game' as guys with absolutely no idea of what's going to happen, and give them an objective and all that, and send them off in the company of your actors.

Honestly I've been sitting on this for a while and I was just wondering how it would all end up. You don't give anyone a script, just a character, and see how interactions and stuff turn out when your 'gamer' can dynamically interact with the NPCs.

Just an intriguing idea I've had for a while, really. What do you think?

I really don't think it'd work.

Like real life but you can -blam!- them and get away with it?

Ever played DayZ? It's not exactly what you're looking for, but I think it comes pretty close at times.

Eh, maybe.

I guess I'm just interested in how your 'gamer' would react when those NPCs are other people. Obviously not hundreds of different characters, but maybe two or three dudes playing as the 'friendly' NPCs while AI/a whole bunch of respawning other guys play as the enemy team.

OP, gimme more context. What sort of game are you talking about here?

Generic first person shooter/action RPG.

You could do it in any game that allows multiplayer and map editing, really.

How about a multiplayer game where the players objective is to act convincingly like an npc and if the searcher/game player founds out you are a real person you lose.
