Subject: Looking To Buy A New Laptop

Hey Flood. I'm thinking about buying a laptop for semi-casual gaming and school, and the budget I have is $700-$800.

I don't what are good specs for that price range, so I have no idea what to buy. I don't really want to run that many games on it, and most of the games I want to run on it don't seem too system-taxing.
===================
Here's a list of the games I want it to run:
-Fallout 3
-Fallout NV
-Morrowind
-Oblivion
-Skyrim
-Mass Effect
-Orcs Must Die 1&2
-Magicka
-Killing Floor
-Scribblenauts Unlimited
-The Walking Dead
-KOTOR 1&2
===================

List of games that I would like it to run, but don't really care about if it can't:
-XCOM: Enemy Unknown
-Deus Ex Human Revolution
-Dark Souls
-Blacklight Retribution
===================
So...yeah. What's a good $700-$800 laptop that can do that?

On the Left

Godshatter: I can go all the way with someone without being attracted to them.
CamCamm: How does that work?
Godshatter: I'm easily aroused by anything that moves. It's a curse.
Brain says 'No, that's ugly', body says 'ugly is fine with me'.

You're probably going to have a hard time finding a laptop for $800 that will run Skyrim or other fairly graphic intense games.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

You might be surprised the deals that you can find on the Dell Outlet. The inventory constantly changes because they are bargain-priced refurbs, returns, scratch-and-dents, demos, leases, etc. and so, once a particular one is gone, it is gone.

But if you know what components you are looking for, know a good bargain when you see it, and have the cash to move quickly, you can (depending on your timing) get one hell of a deal, with full factory warranty on this site.

Full Disclosure: I work for a division of that company. But I am not involved in sales and there is no benefit to me if anyone does (or doesn't) take advantage of this little known branch of Dell's offerings.

I'd say this is your best bet (11")

You'd have to pay for windows separately or add $80
