Terrible moderation, insane amounts of casuals, more flames than a forest fire, etc.

There are enough casuals too form an undead army for the gravemind in that forum.

Most people there are Players who picked up Halo at Reach and it shows.

I didn't realize discovering Halo at Reach meant you're bad or casual. Doesn't everyone have to start from somewhere?

For the lols right?

The moderation team is just horrible! That's my main problem

Lol, okay dude. Doesn't bother me in the slightest that you think that.

Take one look at their first two pages and tell me you got banned for suggestions or criticisms of the game

This was immediately after release during the "honeymoon" phase, where everyone got mad at you if you said that the game had issues, not now when people are up in arms about the issues they denied on release.

Proof please. Everyone says this, and how they get "unfairly banned", but they always had a good reason for getting banned.

Subject: So why exactly does the Flood hate the Halo Waypoint forums?

Incompetent moderation
Slow as hell loading times
Annoying rabid fanboys
No coup

Um don't you think it's expected for fans of a game to flame haters on a website of the game, at least initially? It's always happened (especially here at Bungie) and it's always gonna happen.

It does. Halo Reach and Halo 4 are very similar in gameplay it means you really haven't played Halo at all. Then it also means you probably have only played around 2 years worth of games or are relatively new. In other words your opinion at that point is very juvenile.

OP assumes there's no reason. Personally, I hate the website as a whole because it loads way too slowly and it's very hard to find anything. There is too much clutter.

1. Nope. I see you're just jumping on that bandwagon when I doubt you have any evidence of unfair or bad moderation.

2. Okay fair enough, but it has gotten better. For me at least, it's as fast as Bungie usually

3. Nope, they're more critical of the game over there than here. Did you read my OP by any chance, because I literally addressed all these points.

They hate it because they flood doesn't know how to express their opinions or discuss something without flaming or resorting to the online tough guy act. They don't know how to conduct themselves in any other way.

How am I assuming no reason? I am defending reasons that I feel strongly for, while still admitting to faults I see as legitimate (such as the inbox issue regarding bans).

I would glady show you proof of their incompetence if it didn't take me 20 minutes to load a page.

You said someone probably deserved a ban because he didn't feel like linking you to the thread he made. That is assuming the worst.

It's because 99% of the time people have been banned it's for insulting others, or flaming. I've never ever seen someone get banned for politely giving suggestions and criticisms in a civilized way.

Nice over exaggeration, also we both know you have no proof. I doubt you go on Waypoint anyways, you hate the game. Why would you go on it?

You're putting words in my mouth, I'll give you the gist of what I said:

Hey guys, I got Halo 4 in the mail the other day and I've been messing around on Forge and Custom Games and I've found that they're pretty lacking. It is my understanding that new Custom Gametypes and stuff can be added later on, like the "Insane" gametypes in Halo: Reach. So, I've made a list of things that are messed up about Forge and Custom games. Here ya go:

1- Removed precision editing: Magnets are not a worthy successor of this tool, they're placed terribly and jerk the pieces around annoyingly.

2- Removed tons of gametypes...

After posting that a bunch of people were calling me a "Reach fanboy" and telling me that Halo 4's Forge and Custom Games were far superior to Reach's. Apparently a bunch of them reported me because I said something along the lines of "Look, I've been Forging and making Custom Gametypes since Halo 3's release. I'd like to think I'm pretty educated as to what makes Custom Gametypes and Forge good, and Halo 4 really messed that up." Which, IMO, is not "Flaming" or "Trolling," I just stated my opinion. I got banned for 2 days (I think) and I almost never go there anymore, that really made me mad.

Butt ugly ape” remarked Sergeant Johnson always making fun out of the situation even though he had been hit by a spiker round in the arm. He mustered up the strength to continue and the team moved on. The Arbiter informed him that the next room held The Prophet of Truth and this was the final room before extraction. Jun proposed that he takes a shot from a distance the prophet and they all head back to the ship bay for extraction. The team agreed on this and breached the last door…

Still, lolwaypoint forums.

Even with the support.

While I'm skeptical if you really posted as civilized as you just did now, if you are genuine than that's a bad experience and I'm sorry it happened to you. I guarantee it won't happen now though.

There's no way to search post history or threads on Waypoint, so what you're looking for is next to impossible to find since it would require somebody to bookmark the particular instance. Since nothing is ever done about the website's moderation and most people who are bothered by it don't bother to go on the site anymore, you're not going to get what you're asking for. You may as well be asking for proof of aliens, seeing as how both sides have nothing but mindless conjecture to base their arguments off of.

This thread is stupid.
