I don't see you complaining about Bungie...the game has always been rated M and we can't ever swear here. I'm sorry you aren't allowed to constantly spam "343 is -blam!- retarded over there, they killed Halo" over there like you can here.An incredibly childish hyperbole, but I'll take it on.
No, Bungie has made many decisions regarding their franchise which I disagree with strongly, mainly the inclusion of Armor Abilities and bloom in Halo Reach. As far as I can tell, you can't spam "Durr Bugnie is -blam!- retarded dey killed Halo" here either. Or at least, you can't make a topic about it. See, there's something that the moderators at the Waypoint forums have yet to learn. Tolerance. They need to tolerate the fact that there are going to be outspoken members of the fanbase. Instead, they stifle discussion by outright denying people means of communication in a manner that is illogical and confusing.
343 industries itself has also shown a complete disregard for their community; I do believe that someone said that no 343i employee ever posts in Waypoint, only on Neogaf and their own website, which is puzzling considering that the only game that 343's released is Halo 4. Relating to that disregard to the community would be the Crimson Map Pack, which was retracted with no prior hints as to what happened, not to mention apparent bans on users. I mean, Xbox Live's support team tweeted out "It's on us."
But let's ignore that. Let's ignore the narrow minded community and moderators. Let's ignore the questionable business practices exercised by 343 Industries. Let's ignore all of that and think of what's really offered there. Stats and a forum about Halo and Halo related topics. Not exactly a broad range of discussion. Say what you want about the Flood (I know I've said a lot of less than pleasant things.) it at least provides multiple topics of discussion. On Waypoint? I see multiple topics, usually about the same thing. What is there to discuss when everybody is just discussing one thing? The answer? Well, I think you get it.
