It is obviously ported from War Inc, another game made by the company. Same unfinished and messy engine. Lets also not forget that Sergey was a big part in the development of big rigs. What's so bad about it being ported from another game? Just because Counter-Strike is a modified Half-Life, doesn't mean it's bad.
I played that game and I found it more fun than a lot of other games and their engines. Greatest example is the even glitchier engine from Arma.
I forgot to mention that there is no proof at all that the game was in development for years. The official website says that, but they like to lie when talking about their games(warz and big rigs). The dev company also was practically a ghost one year ago, and released no information at all pertaining to the game. The game was put into development several months ago after dayz's success, and with an engine(a very sloppy and unfinished one at that) already made, the process was quite easy. You know, there was a time when people judged the game, not the complex story behind the development.
For the 1000th time, I judge the game itself.
You would then know the reasons why it is terrible:
1.Engine is a royal mess
2.I need to wait one hour after getting killed to play again. I know I have five characters, but the people who camp the safe zones can cause one to burn through them fast.
3.If I had money, I could load up my character with most of what one needs to survive. I will then just grab a gun that spawns everywhere, even under a tree.
4.Flashlights are unrealistically strong. A plastic flashlight would break before it could do the same to an enemy skull.
5.You say that it is in alpha, but it is actually a foundation release at the moment.
6.Half the game description on steam was a bunch of lies. Don't bring up the "miscommunication" crap either. It is super easy to type "features to come at a later date" above the not-yet-released feature list. You gotta be stupid to make such a terrible mistake
7.Steam was giving out the refunds, unlike the greedy company which gave out none.
8.The lead dev's cheat and call campers that certain f word that is longer than four letters. Instances of being banned for playing too long have also happened.
9.The dev's were too lasy to make a terms of service, so they just copied league of legends.
10.foundation releases should never be as buggy as war z is.
