Oh HAI OP, you've just been banned from the game, hope you don't mind us using it for vacations and running away from the law.
Seems legit.
it's funny because this actually happened to people.

Op's tyring to defend scammers and liars.
And you are just blindly listening to Internet-conspiracies.

I am just defending a (imo) decent game.
I'm saying this with all of my authority in playing bad games.

You would have to be high on crack, heroin and bath salts to think that War Z is anything more than the ass crack of a rabid horse.
I could say the same about millions of DayZ players. It's the same game with more bugs and annoyances.

Well unfortunately for War Z, I didn't play Day Z. War Z is a boring, buggy and dysfunctional mess of a game that isn't worth the memory it takes up on download.

1. how is paying for weapons on spawn NOT pay to win?
2. good, no one should
3. yes but at the get-go minecraft STATED that it was in alpha/beta
4. yes but it's missing Basic MMO fetures
5. yeah because i can take on a army of zombies with a hand-held pocket LED flashlight amiright?
6. no its not it is being sold as a final game and advertised a full finished game
7. yeah because an ex-military survivor shouldnt be able to run faster than five kmh and the game should also sacrifice gameplay for realism
8. wut?
9. iknowright?
10. no it isnt, and you are also defending false advertising? really?
1. Read the OP about it.
3. Admitted that mistake several times. Doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the game. Everyone pissed off by it got a refund.
4. I don't see what you mean. How does WoW or any other MMO have a better UI?
5. You find a weapon at every corner. If you don't have one, the zombies loose you if you sprint or you jump up somewhere. Just get some skill.
6. look at 3.
7. You already run 20km/h for 5 minutes straight and never have to stop. Why should it be any faster?
8. Have you ever played MMOs? Ever walked through the deserts? It's just -blam!- boring there
10. again, referring to 3.
5. i wish i could find a fully loaded gun laying on the ground. yeah but one problem, you can only sprint for like 10 seconds then you have an over 9000 hour long cool down. btw LOL skill
7. you run no where near 20kmh, closer to 5kmh tbh and you can only run for like 10 seconds and then have a super long cool down
8. yes, yes i do, and deserts you know are well know for being wastelands but i expect then not to sacrifice gameplay for realism... as for this MMO id like to see something other than trees and rocks all the time maybe a cabin or barn?

I agree with you OP. I've been playing WarZ off and on since it was released to the public and I think it's pretty good for an alpha. People seem to forget what an alpha truly means. Does anybody remember what Skyrim was like upon it's release? Buggy as all hell, and that was it's full release which is the same case with many other popular games that come out.

The dev's are pretty terrible at communication with their customers but I can easily look past it, as long as they continue to support their game which they have been.

I also avidly play DayZ as well since it's also an amazing game/mod. Both are extremely fun to play and I will never understand why some people just hate on WarZ without any knowledge about the game besides what some guy on the internet said.

I can rest easily though knowing that there are over 70,000 people playing the game and enjoying it and the complainers are just a vocal minority.

I am not saying WarZ is any better, but it simply doesn't create a good atmosphere (like WoW, Resident Evil or whatever). It's just bland forest and small towns.

Turns out, that's what real life is. And DayZ feels real because it's built on a crushingly realistic game. It feels isolating and suspenseful, because it's trying to make you feel like you're actually in a zombie infested country, not Dead Island.

It is obviously ported from War Inc, another game made by the company. Same unfinished and messy engine. Lets also not forget that Sergey was a big part in the development of big rigs.
What's so bad about it being ported from another game? Just because Counter-Strike is a modified Half-Life, doesn't mean it's bad.
I played that game and I found it more fun than a lot of other games and their engines. Greatest example is the even glitchier engine from Arma.

I forgot to mention that there is no proof at all that the game was in development for years. The official website says that, but they like to lie when talking about their games(warz and big rigs). The dev company also was practically a ghost one year ago, and released no information at all pertaining to the game. The game was put into development several months ago after dayz's success, and with an engine(a very sloppy and unfinished one at that) already made, the process was quite easy.
You know, there was a time when people judged the game, not the complex story behind the development.

For the 1000th time, I judge the game itself.

You would then know the reasons why it is terrible:

1.Engine is a royal mess

2.I need to wait one hour after getting killed to play again. I know I have five characters, but the people who camp the safe zones can cause one to burn through them fast.

3.If I had money, I could load up my character with most of what one needs to survive. I will then just grab a gun that spawns everywhere, even under a tree.

4.Flashlights are unrealistically strong. A plastic flashlight would break before it could do the same to an enemy skull.

5.You say that it is in alpha, but it is actually a foundation release at the moment.

6.Half the game description on steam was a bunch of lies. Don't bring up the "miscommunication" crap either. It is super easy to type "features to come at a later date" above the not-yet-released feature list. You gotta be stupid to make such a terrible mistake

7.Steam was giving out the refunds, unlike the greedy company which gave out none.

8.The lead dev's cheat and call campers that certain f word that is longer than four letters. Instances of being banned for playing too long have also happened.

9.The dev's were too lasy to make a terms of service, so they just copied league of legends.

10.foundation releases should never be as buggy as war z is.

Besides the cash grabbing methods used by the devs, the gameplay looks extremely bland. The map is so small it's a pvp zone anyway, and microtransactions are a stupid addition to a sandbox survival game. Additionally the sounds, animations, texture quality and graphics overall are complete rubbish. Now you can make excuses - "WarZ will have more features!" but it's a version 1.0. But it's not. It's an alpha at best.

The 'dullness' of DayZ is a big part of makes it feel so isolating.

I've never played DayZ or WarZ, however, I've seen enough gameplay, and heard enough to know I'd never touch WarZ with a 10 foot pole. You keep saying that you can't use the false advertisement issue, but when you're told that you're buying a shelf ready game(or just not being told that you're buying an alpha), you expect it to handle like a shelf ready game. We judge games based on what they're supposed to be, WarZ looks (graphically and gameplay wise) like an alpha(I watched TotalBiscuit spawn right next to a floating backpack and get beat to death with a flashlight by said floating backpack and take major wounds from 3 inch drops). Point is, no one is going to treat this like an alpha because it was(maybe still is on anther site?) being sold as a game ready for consumers.

As for DayZ, I don't see myself playing that either, until they release a standalone, shelf ready version. However, they announced it as an alpha MULTIPLE times and don't charge any kind of retail price for it, therefore I will treat it as an alpha and wait to judge it until they release retail ready version.

It's a crappy developer's attempt to cash in on Day Z. Their main marketing technique is lying through their teeth, and their main development technique is copying DayZ as closely as they can.
