Why don't we just share the hill?

Why is the word g(a)y filtered? It's not a curse word or offensive in any way. This should be changed, even though it wont be.

It's used as an insult more than it's used as a description of sexuality.

Shoot me a pm if you want to talk about anything!

Probably to discourage discussion on the subject because the flood can't talk about that sort of thing maturely.

Because the filter is overly PC, I wouldn't mind it so much if homo-blam!- wasn't censored either.

  • 12.21.2012 6:36 PM PDT

Probably because the language filter is borrowed from another site and hasn't been updated in 7 years and is pointless to update when the next version of the website will be coming out soon enough.

Maybe not to you.

For future referencem this is more of a community forum topic anyway.

Because the filter comes from Microsoft and it's the same one from LIVE. It hasn't been updated since it was implemented and that was ages ago.

  • 12.21.2012 6:37 PM PDT

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

STOP ASSAULT 2012

Who is Assault? Assault is a mod in the Bungie.net brony group. And what started out with good intentions, viciously spiraled down into a power hungry tyrant locking thread after thread after thread to quell all opposition to his tyrannical rule. Did I mention he is a tyrant?

To donate to the STOP ASSAULT 2012 movement, message me with your credit card info, full name, social security, full adress, and mothers maiden name.

One that definitely shouldn't be censored is n@zi. I don't think anyone has used N@zi to talk -blam!- in a couple years, and there's many times when people on the forums are discussing history, and when the n@zi's come up, it's really just tiresome.

Anything sexxual is filtered. Even the word se*x

Yea I agree, the filter is a little too strict.

A real test of a man is if he is willing to scrape a sharpened razor up and down his junk just to please a woman.

Not here. If it gets used as a derogitory term here, the person is called out on that -blam!-.

There's literally no reason at this point, honestly.
