I AM ROYALTY

I have been looking forward to playing planetside 2 for a while now, and I just installed it, to find that it runs horribly on my computer. I have the Toshiba Qosmio, with and I7 processer and a TB of Data and i can barley run the game on low graphic quality. I do not know much about computers, and was wondering if anyone could help me out.

You probably don't have graphics power for it. It's a pretty large game that has a lot going on, and requires a decent amount of video RAM which is different from your regular RAM.

Do you happen to know what kind of video card you are using?

I think it was like DDR3 or something like that, I honestly don't know.

It is poorly optimized/structured and doesn't run too well for quite a few people.

Okay i think it was NVIDIA OPTIMUS or something. I just checked online and it said it was speced for High Powered HD performance

The Toshiba Qosmio is a laptop and they usually have a GTS 360 in them so that is probably why it is not running well.

Well that's the thing laptops generally do not run games so well.

If you need to check, you can find your system info from some variant of control panel->system.

Alternatively, CMD prompts and Speccy.
