I'm not so good with advice...Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?

About a week ago, i jumped into a pool with my iPhone 4s in my pocket. Tomorrow, im going to get a new phone. I could get another 4S for $150, or get a Galaxy S3 for $100. I would go with the S3, but im totally used to the iPhone layout. Is it really that big of a change? Are there any other phones i should be considering? I have Verizon and a max budget of $200.

Inappropriate. Went a little to far with the butt hole tearing.

But...why did you jump in the pool?

I persist too long after my own defeat,
Yet I still press forward, staggering on my feet.
But I know that my resolution will be my end.
And once I fall, I shall ruefully transcend.

Humanity and their primitive communication devices....

No thought required, just spawn and GOOOOOOOOOOO

Just get the iPhone.

Take it from an old android user... The android OS is complete and utter TRASH when compared to iOS.

I'm glad I upgraded from android to iOS

Since nobody is telling you the bad thing to owning an android phone, I will.

The android OS is extremely buggy, unoptimized, and resource extensive.

Want to open an app? Prepare to wait a few seconds.

Want to read a text? Prepare to wait a few seconds.

Want to delete a string of texts? Prepare to have your phone freeze a few times before they delete.

Want to delete an app? Prepare for a tedious process of menu navigation.

Want to FIND an app? Prepare to shift through trash apps on the market place since android has no quality control.

Want service inside a building? Too bad.

I can go on and on...

I don't know about the other (since I'm not Android user), but I think that's your provider's fault...

Well, maybe. I now use an iPhone 4S, and my dad uses an android. We both have sprint, and I'll have full service inside buildings while he often gets no signal at all.

Apparently the last Android phone you ever used was on Gingerbread and filled with carrier bloatware.

OP - get the GS3, unlock, root, and install a rom. It's super easy and you'll get a fantastic phone.

I have yet to see a bad review that would make it worthwhile to get a previous generation phone like the 4S.

I mean, unless "this thing is too powerful" is a bad review.

Get the SIII, one of THE best phones out there. I've had to deal with both iOS and Android. I prefer Android due to its endless options and functionality(especially when you don't have to deal with crap iTunes).

Want something simple? Get iOS.

Want something that gives OPTIONS? Android.

Let's not forget that since ICS and Jelly Bean, the UI and UX has improved drastically.

iTunes is actually a lot more organized and has more content.

Unless you're an Apple user, iTunes is a horrible piece of software to work with.

If you use iTunes, you're more than likely an Apple user to begin with. It's still well organized and has more content regardless.
The difference is that with an iDevice, you can only get your content through iTunes. With an Android device, you can get your content from wherever you please and don't need a program in order to put it on your phone; just drag and drop it into the folder you want.

All of those depends on the phone and the OS. While I do agree with some of your points with Ice cream sandwich and especially Jelly Bean the issues people had are almost gone. I have the Note 2 that has 2 GB's of ram and a quad core processor and it tends to be faster then I want it sometimes. When i click on a widget the task is done instantly same with when I open an app.

if it was a few years ago then your points would make more sense but now most of them have been taken care of.
