The shooting seem to get more common every year, it's sad honestly.

But really, this is the consequence of having a free-arm society. Meh.

The shootings aren't getting more common. The media coverage is.

I persist too long after my own defeat,
Yet I still press forward, staggering on my feet.
But I know that my resolution will be my end.
And once I fall, I shall ruefully transcend.

And thus, they must be composed.

That would extinguish all other life within three galactic radii from the center. Humanity is the scourge of this galaxy.

As Forerunners, it is our sole duty to enact as caretakers of all life within the galaxy... but humanity... they are something distinct altogether.

This reminds me of a discussion I had with my Gma, where are the serial killers? In the late 20th century there were many notorious killers, but now I haven't heard of many.

they get caught to soon, which is a good thing, but even then their not creative enough to have a catchy serial killer name

I don't know man, usually the media eats that kind of -blam!- to begin with, so maybe the shootings are increasing, sort of a copy cat, a stand alone complex. lol I'm thinking too far into it, but I just can't help but remember about that guy in Norway who opened fire at a crowd of people. How he described that the people did nothing as they watched him reload...

or it could have been another shooting, Idk man

I suppose a massive improvement in police and forensic work can be attributed to the decrease...indeed.

Nowadays we hear of murder-suicides, these depressed kids killing others and then themselves with guns, are they the only serial killers left? Is the present environment just too dangerous for killers to pursue their dark lust secretly and cleverly enough to avoid detection for long periods?

Names that come up quickly are the Zodiac, Jack the Ripper (older, but still strange).

Are such elusive serial killers only present in countries with weaker law enforcement?

The Gilgo Killer is the serial killer of our era.

Recon Number 54 -
If they are still looking, then while holding the snarl, I let drool start to drip from my mouth, I stand, curl my fingers into claws and with a hunched over crouch, I then make slow and deliberate steps towards them. When I get close enough, I let them hear my agonized and gasping growls and then, if they continue to stare, when I get within arm's reach? I kiss them on the nose, and run away giggling.

What is it with serial killers and prostitutes?

It's like they all played GTA or something...

They're easy targets, and the serial killers think "they're making a difference".

Makes 100% sense. Anyways, I think most serial killers fly under the radar now. Leaving a calling card is only asking for trouble.
