If you've never played them, definitely get the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection and Okami HD.
I've heard this game is great, but I don't really understand what the concept is.
Which one specifically?
Ico is an okay game, it's nothing I would rush out to buy though. It shows its age and it's not necessarily the most fun game to play. Has a nice atmosphere to it though, and some unique ideas. Shadow of the Colossus is the real star of the Collection, in my opinion. The game is composed of just boss battles, the bosses are usually enormous monsters that you must climb and find the secret to defeating it. It's a lot of fun and it's got a great atmosphere and soundtrack. The HD version also fixes the biggest problem with the original, the framerate. So unless you play in 3D, it runs almost perfectly.
Okami is basically a Zelda clone, but it has a game mechanic called the celestial brush which lets you draw certain things to perform different moves and techniques. It has a ton of content (it's more like three games than a single game), a great story, and an awesome art style. I think it's better than any 3D Zelda myself, but I'm probably in a minority there. The actual combat isn't all that deep, but it's pretty varied with all of the different enemies you fight as well as all of the different weapons and powers you earn.
And if you're into turn-based JRPGs, then Persona 3 FES is on PSN for like $10 and it's really good as well.
