AN X Factor hopeful has avoided a jail term despite glassing her boyfriend - leaving him with horrendous facial injuries.

Today judges sentenced Slater, 21, to 51 weeks in prison suspended for two years, a two-year supervision order and 120 hours of community service.

A charge of unlawful wounding that she pleaded guilty to in court carries a maximum sentence of five years behind bars.

The couple were drinking wine at his house when she hit him with a glass and threw the laptop across the room after seeing a message she did not like on Facebook.

This is sick, pleading guilty of unprovoked abuse and causing physical scaring gets you no time in jail for a woman, yet if a man did this he would get 5 years in jail.

She is a nobody who people consider famous now which make it worse, she is a great person for wrong girls to look up now they see how flawed society is.

Equal rights means equal sentencing for both genders.

If you had an electron microscope, you still couldn't find the -blam!- I don't give.

You well never see a feminist protest this sentence

It's ironic, isn't it? Hypocritical may be a better way of describing it.

Of course you would see a feminist protest this. You might not see a hypocrite protest this sentence, but the vast majority of people (which yes, includes both men and women) would find this horrendous and peculiar sentencing.

Feminists are friends to justice and equality, and in fact are defined by them. Your perception of feminism and feminists is neither accurate nor helpful to gender equality for either sex.

OP, yesterday you posted something similar to this, what's your game in all this? Is there a point you're trying to prove, or is it merely coincidental that in two days you've posted two articles decrying women? In fact, going off of this:

I can see exactly what is wrong with your logic. There was exactly one woman complaining in that. One. There are almost four billion women on the planet and you take the opinions and statements of one and attribute it towards the attitude of the entire group. How can you not see that's dangerous and wrong?
