I agree with the custom game options. I like 4ge better, but the inability of one flag is just absurd. As well as infection's limitations.

I agree with the custom game options. I like 4ge better, but the inability of one flag is just absurd. As well as infection's limitations.


I think people over exaggerate on how bad Halo 4's Forge and Customs are, but it is disappointing compared to Reach's. If we could just have one really big Forge map, via DLC, it would be amazing.

Oh, and Infection needs to be fixed.

Infection in Halo 3 isn't zombie killing; it's ethnic cleansing. Have you ever noticed that these "zombies" are just black Spartans?

Halo 2 had the best campaign experience.

Halo 3 had the best multiplayer experience.

ODST had the best co-operative experience.

Reach was a great game and competent at all three.

Halo 2 was utter garbage. Reach wasn't considerably better though.

Halo CE is still the most challenging, balanced, and longest Halo game.
Halo CE sucked. The campaign was unimaginative and required more backtracking than any Halo after it and the Flood was insanely annoying. I'll admit I never got to play much CE multiplayer, and my first Halo was 2, but CE was not that good. Anyone who claims a H3 or H2 fan is blinded by nostalgia please understand the love of CE is completely nostalgia.

Why were Halo 3 Custom games better?

1. All Forge Objects on all Maps. All maps could be Forged on.

2. Interactive Objects X 1,000,000. This is why Custom Games haven't been as fun. Jenga, Shut the Base, Trash Compactor, Hurricane Katrina, etc.

3. All objects were asthetically pleasing

4. Large amount of every Object type. (10 Crates in Halo 4? Really?)

5. Equipment allowed for an unprecedented amount of interactive maps. Gravity Lift was used as a Key to open doors.

6. Partly due to the fact that you could, break, or get out of most of the maps.

No. I would say Halo CE is a seperate entity. An introducer. Regardless, that's how I feel about Each game. Yes the Original Trilogy is best experienced together, but still.

I am a firm believer that Reach was most definitely NOT the pinnacle of Halo.

I was young when Halo 2 was big so I did not play it much but when I did play it was awesome. I also had a blast with Halo 3 too. I think Halo 2-3 were the pinnacle.

My opinion is 3>4>2>CE>Reach

But that is probably a little misleading. I didn't really hate any of them. I just preferred them in that order.

Also in my opinion, ODST firefight was better. The main part of campaign is the story, not the gameplay, so I did not think Reach's was better than any of the rest. Finally, Reach did have a place like Forge World and more forging options, but I still preferred Halo 3's.

1.) Forge World was massive, so there wasn't really a need to Forge on other maps. There was Tempest as well, anyways.

2.) But all those gametypes were successfully made in Reach...

3.) Not really, it was still all just one color for the most part. At least with Reach there were different environments plus more FX you could be creative with.

4.) Well, that's Halo 4. In Reach there were a lot more Forge options than 3.

5.) AA's could fill the equipment option pretty much.

6.) You could do that in Reach anyways, get out of Forge World for more Forge space as well as Forging under the ocean, etc. Plus, you can get out of maps like Reflection, the Anniversary maps, Sword Base.

Just what I want to do in my Halo games, play with balls.
Halo Ball was just an example, and you didn't even have to involve balls in the gametypes, it was an extremely flexible gametype.
