Rain, and Jazz.

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!

Since the gun was invented back in your history books, it has been the superior weapon. Once science invents something the knowledge can never be "unlearned", though lost. Guns are prevalent enough throughout the world so as to be virtually impossible to forget.

America's gun-liking culture came from itself. The armies that drove back the British back used guns. During the somewhat-lawless "Wild West" days people used guns to protect themselves from outlaws. Axis forces barely considered the idea of invading America because of how well armed we are.

A lack of a legal way to obtain guns is not going to do much good.
People having guns at the school itself is not going to do much good.

In the months leading up to the shootout I would hear of someone's death every single day or every other day through various media. It is a tragedy, but do not overreact.

Well, evidently, the US has issues with its firearm-death-rate. I see it as only a good thing that Americans are focusing on trying to reduce the deaths caused by firearms, one way or another. A reaction is completely necessary, IMO, albeit, as you say, an overreaction on the part of the politicians should be avoided as well.

So....... we can react a bit...... but we shouldn't over do it? Bad stuff happens so there's no point in trying to stop it?

Pointless thread is pointless.

I'm getting sick of you people. Your consistent reactions to bad things are "It doesn't matter. Don't worry about it. It would happen anyway."

It's irresponsible and disgusting. A morally wrong stance to take.
