Back to Halo 3. Wake me up when Halo Reach can live up to its full potential!

I'm kind of confused what graphics are precisely. Are textures part of the graphics, are polygons?

Does Borderlands 2 has good graphics? I love the style they put in it, but if you get a Crysis 3, the latter looks more realistic. But are more realistic graphics better graphics?

Graphics =/= Realistic

Play. Forge. Film.

It all depends on the amount of pixels and frames per second you get I think I'm not really sure though.

in game graphics is a term used when they have a cutscene in game instead of doing some fancy cg animation

No thought required, just spawn and GOOOOOOOOOOO

Well, If its on the PS3 or 360, than its graphics are automatically bad. They were good SIX YEARS AGO, but now they are just terra-bad.

Yes and yes.

Does Borderlands 2 has good graphics?
I don't know. The art style pretty much overcomes it. In the end it doesn't matter because their artists did a beautiful job using that sweeping style. Are the graphics good? Maybe. Are the graphics bad? Maybe. But if they are, the art style covers for it.

But are more realistic graphics better graphics?
Graphics quality isn't really an opinion. Halo: Reach undeniably had vastly superior graphics to any other Halo game. But due to the art style I preferred the look of Halo 3 and ODST more.

Graphics refer to technical aspects. If you want to discuss 'realism' then you want to compare art styles, which essentially comes down to pure opinion.
