Subject: Would you buy Halo: ODST 2?

I don't know. The franchise would be better off releasing every three years rather than releasing on an average of one Halo product every year as has been the case since '07.

Isn't that still sort of how it works? Have a 3 year cycle on main instalments and have a cod like (same engine and game play) installment with no multiplayer realeased between the last main installment and the next, to keep you in the Halo mood.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

Hell yes, i thought ODST was one of the best Halo games.

Here is the Slayer of Cake. May he find piece in death after a life full of violence and unrest battling the tyranny of desserts.

ODST had an awesome campaign, so yeah.

As long as it is not a copy and paste of gameplay mechanics like the last ODST was.

I kinda agree on this. Halo 3's gameplay was not suited to the stealth style of halo: ODST. If they made an ODST 2, it should have its own gameplay.

Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"

It depends on the game play. In ODST we are supposed to be regular humans, but the gameplay is still as if we are Spartans.
-Stamina acts like the energy shields.
-We can survive falls from great heights. For example when you jumped out of that pod.
-We can run around with machine gun/plasma turrets.
-We can run around with gravity hammers.

So if the game play doesn't match what we are supposed to be I'm not going to get it. The other thing that depends if I'm going to buy it is the combat. The ODST drop into live combat zones. In ODST we dropped into a building than hours latter we woke up. And the combat was over with.

No. Halo needs to end.

I didn't love ODST's story as I have with some other Halo's, but I did like the idea of being an ODST, and taking a different approach to combat. If the graphics are a little more attractive in ODST 2 and the gameplay is good, I would consider for sure.

hmm

Yeah, ODST's campaign was great. Also firefight has loads of replay value.

To be honest, any game set in the halo universe; I will buy.

How about a halo RPG? How would that even work? Well I guess you could be an ONI agent or something, actually that sounds good!

Yes, but it would have to be really different (maybe with actual squad gameplay).

ODST was a fantastic one off game, and a sequel would have to do the same.

The campaign wasn't fun for me so no.

Major props to my hommie Sheeef. He made Recon possible for me. Long time recovering emails and passwords. And it was his. lol.

Yes. Only if 343i doesn't make it.

Halo 2 was the best Halo game
A7x FoREVer!

Thought ODST had the worst campaign, no multiplayer, and firefight was only enjoyable if you had 3 friends to play it with.

Um they are obviously going to make it. If Frankie is so confident that 343 can make a halo wars 2 then they can defenitly make a ODST 2. Also, how do you know it will be bad?

No. I'd rather the Halo franchise wasn't milked and milked until it died. We got 5 great games which I really enjoyed (H:CE,H2,H3,ODST,Reach), and now it is on a downwards hill.

There is practically no way future games could beat what has already come, and so I'd prefer developers to come up with an original idea for a change.

No. I really liked ODST, but there's no need for a sequel. (And while the story was interesting, it still wasn't great. It's not asking for more.)
