Tej~

Why is it that whenever you post enough ">>>"'s in a line, the website adds in ">"?. Clearly it's something to do with how posts work but i can't understand why this would be implemented (unless of course it's a glitch)

Butt ugly ape” remarked Sergeant Johnson always making fun out of the situation even though he had been hit by a spiker round in the arm. He mustered up the strength to continue and the team moved on. The Arbiter informed him that the next room held The Prophet of Truth and this was the final room before extraction. Jun proposed that he takes a shot from a distance the prophet and they all head back to the ship bay for extraction. The team agreed on this and breached the last door…

I know the whole text field on here has been molested time and time again because it caused so many exploits (at one point, if you had a large enough quote pyramid, there was a way to cause the page to be redirected, and this was used to redirect to some nasty stuff yo), they had to do some drastic changes and limitations. This must be a glitch due to all these changes.

Okay, now Achronos can come in and tell us the truth.

I find that Teh-Ziod is NOT attractive for the reasons
she/he does not correct format sentences, therefore for intelligent matured members of society that may interact with her/him, may find her/him UNattractive for the reason that she/he does not comprehend with their level to successfully have a conversation therefore it will be socially an awkward interaction which may be wanted to be avoided

second i do not find it physically possible for a PERSON to be a ice cream truck.

I'm not sure why exactly it does that but there is a way to prevent that from happening. If you use bold/italic/underline to break it apart it won't do it. Example.

It seems to happen with a lot of special characters and alt codes.

> is the HTML entity value of a greater than character.

They are converted to that whenever you want to display them since greater than characters have a special meaning in HTML and XML documents. If you look closely at the page source, you can see that any greater than characters are converted, even though you type one directly. This is also done to mitigate certain security issues.

I don't expect you'd get an answer (which is a good thing here) as for why you get those entities coming up in the middle of strings of text (even though the function for mitigating these threats doesn't appear to be working as I'd expect it to), since information like that has the potential to abused and used to exploit the site.
