I Love Lamp. And Ender's Game. Don't tell Lamp.

This is a hypothetical question.

The question is, if guns were banned, and it was made impossible somehow for criminals to obtain them, would you or would you not support the restrictions?

Edit: Does anyone here know what the hell a hypothetical question is?

I don't know, ask the Vietnamese who were making working sub machine guns out of bamboo and steel pipes.

Protip: It's insanely easy to make some automatic firearms.

There is no way to stop guns from being used in America.

...because guns are so saturated into america due to them being legal.

yes, there is no way to stop criminals from illegally obtaining guns, but if america weren't so saturated with guns, illegally obtaining them would be a hell of a lot harder.

Riiiiiiiiiiiight- Mindless Drone.

Honestly, I still wouldn't agree. We'd be techno-geeks and have no ways of defending ourselves when The Big Brother decides not to show up to a robbery.

No.

Firearms are an equalizer in the area of force that cannot be replicated by any other means. A firearm is the only weapon (barring tanks, planes, bombs and other high-tech options) that arrests or wipes out the dichotomy in the ability to apply force that is created as a result of the fact that all human beings are not uniform in their height, build and strength, amongst other factors.
