Boys and girls are both good. Everyone happy? K move on.

This didn't resolve much.

17 pages and nothing was resolved. Nobody knows what reasoning is. Everyone just argues, there is obviously not a solution so move on.

That's how life works. You argue, they argue back, and eventually someone grabs a piece of wood and bashes the other's head in. Only the strong one's opinion is left over, and is the only opinion that ever mattered. Betas and white knights just need to accept this.
That is not how it has to be, though. It's a prisoners dilemma involving the Social Contract. We sacrifice a bit of our primal urges, some of our willingness to use violence, and some of our autonomy to conform to a more civilized world with mutual benefits to all of us, including better safety, open discussion, and higher standards of living.

Unfortunately some of us do not want to engage in the social contract, That's where the prisoner's dilemma sits in.

Shaka how many women has this selfless white knighting gotten you?

None. That's why he's here: To validate his purpose in life. Unfortunately for him, no matter how many women's asses he kisses online, they'll never sleep with him. Talk about sexist, we all know he's only defending them because internally he's simply trying to get laid. Hell, I'd argue getting laid the is the driving factor behind what all men do, seeing how it's hardwired into our brains, ya know that whole thing about surviving as a species.
Son, I call you that because I know that you're less intelligent than I am, to imply that a higher level of thinking (i.e. not generalising and/or using blanket statements to define groups of people) is indicative of me kissing women's asses isn't just naive, it's irrational. Furthermore, it displays your latent sexism and lack of ability to comprehend past events and their implications on the situations of today. It is people like you who believe that people who fight for racial equality are trying to take white people's rights away, and that those who fight for gay marriage are somehow trying to destroy the institute of marriage.
Son, I don't need the help of anyone on this forum to get laid, and given the male:female ratio, I think I'd be in the wrong kind of place anyway.

So, I ask you, have you checked your privilege lately?

I never even said I "got you guise lol 10/606969 trollololol wolo".

Nobody said that.

What I was saying was the only reason I posted the way I did in your social justice crusades was to show just how over sensitive and whiney you can be when something outside your realm of political correctness is said.

Take a chill pill, hun.
I am pretty sensitive to people being bigots, yes. That's because they're bigots.

Dress it up how you like, bigotry is bigotry is bigotry. If you say bigoted things, you are a bigot. If you want people to stop reacting badly to bigoted things you say and post, stop being a bigot. I'm not going to magically realise that hatefulness actually isn't hateful, sorry.

Honestly, this must be a joke. Child, listen, stop trying to defend yourself because clearly you are incapable of it. The only idiot in this thread is yourself, and trust me, it is obvious. So, how about you do as I asked earlier and log off, mommy and daddy wouldn't want you staying up this late.

YOU DON'T KNOW ME!

I sure don't. Thing is, I was commenting on your statement, not your overall intellect. Do people call you stupid often?

Do I need to tell you that you can't just claim that an entire movement is working towards an outcome without any supporting evidence of their actions towards that outcome?

As an LGBT woman, don't I get to decide what is and isn't offensive to me as an LGBT woman?

Again, if you want people to stop getting mad at you for saying bigoted things, you could try not saying bigoted things.

Yes, whats offensive to you. But not whats offensive to everyone else. You have every right to be offended but the line is drawn there. The line stops at Free speech, because nothing can ever be proven to be offensive, Jay.

Hmmm... that's funny. I must've suffered a bump on the head in the past five minutes. I have absolutely no memory of having said that. If you would locate that for me, that'd be great.

Actually, the moment someone says something is offensive to them for [x] reason, it's offensive, even if other people choose not to be offended by it. That's how it works.

Again, if you want people to stop being offended by the bigoted things you say, stop being a bigot. I promise you, it really is that easy.

Reptar, since you're not (I assume from the amount of unashamed LGBT bashing that you do) LGBT, it's not up to you to decide what is offensive. If someone from a group that you're talking about is offended, then that is their prerogative. This isn't new information, it's common sense

@jay: Bigoted things are bigoted because of their intent. If someone says "Hey, what rhymes with bigger?" and I say the n-word, that doesn't make me a bigot, it makes me someone who used a word in a nonoffensive context that is usually used in an offensive one. If a teacher gives my class a lot of homework, and I call that homework super [g-word], that doesn't make me a homophobe. I like homo-blam!- people. I know several. I'm not saying that that gives me the right to say that word, I'm just saying that I am, in fact, not a homophobe. I'm using that term in a nonoffensive context not referring to -blam!- orientation at all.

Likewise, if someone uses bigoted rhetoric that they don't agree with to make a point about an ideology they don't agree with, they themselves are not a bigot.

Actually, no. What makes something offensive is if someone is offended by it. What makes something bigoted is if the person responsible for causing offence, intentionally or otherwise, is unapologetic about it.

Also, do I even need to say that using the n-word is always bigoted, no matter what the context, unless you are an actual black person using it?

The fact is that these words have connotations which imply that those people are lesser than others, particularly the one with your teacher.

Not to mention, as an African Australian I find that offensive

LOLnope. I agree when it's used to refer to a specific person as a term of endearment, but when mentioning it as a word that exists that happens to rhyme with bigger, if someone called me out on the spot for being a racist I would laugh at them for a good thirty seconds to a minute.

Well, you could laugh at them for calling you racist, but you would still be racist.

Bigots laugh at people who call them bigots all the time. They're still bigots.

Sorry I don't conform to your standards. Keep this in mind, however, you are in now way more intelligent than me, I will always be ahead of you in that regard. Actually, no. What makes something offensive is if someone is offended by it.

But offence is subjective, people can be offended by things that aren't meant to be offensive.

Saying that LGBT should have the same rights as others (which I support 110%) can be offensive to extremely religious old-school people.
