"Completely different" is strong, the little things don't have that much of an impact in their lives, being introduced to newer technology at the age others weren't isn't going to make them completely different from those 10 years before.maybe not completely different, but their are sure going to be a whole lot of differences. A lot changes in 10 years. for instance, a kid born in 1955 will have had experienced segregation at its peak, whereas a kid born in 1965 wouldn't, because by the time he was old enough to understand what was going on around him, segregation would have ended. Example 2: a kid back in 1990s wouldn't have been able to access the internet whenever he wanted. If he wanted to find something out, it was ask others or go to the library, or turn on the tv. There was no "app for that".
You can't honestly say that a kid born today would have the same childhood experience as one born 10 years ago.
