I think I might have to go with OP on this one actually. The Beatles took years to diversify their musical taste, and were essentially, George Martin's little puppets.
They were a cultural fad, and like all things, should be left in the era in which they came from. It is simply just nostalgia we listen to them. It was, for around 5 records at least, the same 3 chords and a bridge. Big whoop. Skrillex utilizes new, innovative techniques to bring forth musical masterpieces with a jazz derivative in the chord structure.
