"Hello. My name is Stephen Hawking. Physicist, cosmologist, and something of a dreamer. Although I cannot move, and I have to speak through a computer, in my mind, I am free. Free to explore the universe, and ask the big questions."

A cyborg is a combination of human and electromechanical parts. An android is a purely electromechanical being designed to emulate human appearance or function in some way.

What's the difference between Robocop and Terminator?

  • 12.23.2012 9:54 AM PDT

Cyborgs are still human underneath.

A cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal.

And from FOX, two phantoms were born.

Well in DBZ the androids are humans that were turned INTO robots..

Meepzoid

I'm not a big sci-fi buff, but isn't a cyborg part human, part machine. While an android is 100% internally machine but has been created to look human.

What's the difference between Robocop and Terminator?

Terminator is a living organism over the top of a metal exoskeleton and Robocop doesn't afraid of anything.

Except magnets.

the one starts out as a biological organism and the other starts out as a robot; then they meet in the middle, only difference is, is how they started out tbh

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

An android is 100% robot with human appearance.
A cyborg is a human witb robotic parts.

What's the difference between Robocop and Terminator?

To start with the names are not the same, Robocop and Terminator.

Life?
I have the internet and Doctor Who; i don't need a life.

cyborg is a combination of biological and mechanical parts.
android is just a machine; one that usually looks like a human.

I'm gonna finish it. Just like Jigga did to the pyramid.

cyborg = made from natural human parts + machinery

android = completely machine designed to appear to be human.

Ahhh, just like Cyborgs and Androids are called differently by the names Cyborgs and Androids respectively.

I hope this is helping OP.

Cyborgs are part human, part machine.
Androids are 100% machine designed to mimic human appearance.
