So I have a very high-end laptop that is relatively new. A few days ago, I used it, everything was fine, then I left for 3 days to go to Miami. My laptop was left, lid closed, still plugged in.(It is a desktop replacement laptop, it is made to be plugged in most the time). After being untouched for 3 days, I opened it up and the bottom 1/4 of my screen was black. I rebooted it to no avail. After signing in and using it a little, the bar turned white and slooooooowly began restoring the part of my screen that was missing. After regaining almost all the pixels, my screen continued to flicker at the bottom slightly. It was plugged in to a surge protector, so I doubt it was from lightning or other power surge. What caused this? Is it a problem?
BTW by the time I finished typing this, the very bottom of my screen stopped flickering and everything seems to be normal. Strange.
