A) Okay, I'll admit I was uninformed about the subject matter. My apologies.
B) Halo 4's core gunplay is still arguably better than Halo 3 and Reach (not ZBNS Reach though). It's consistent (no spread or bloom) and movement is quite well done.
I disagree there are multiple glitches/exploits in Halo 4 due to the poor programming on 343's part. As for no bloom/spread that really doesn't matter all too much in terms of improving/taking away for the gameplay. The same can be said about movement it has been roughly the same since Halo 3 to Halo 4 with the only main difference being faster or slower. The thing is there is more to gameplay than just 2 aspects.
Auto Aim/Bullet Magnetism/Hitboxes: Halo 3 clearly did this best, though again, I haven't seen that comparison video you talked about so I can't talk about Reach. But again, I find the 4 DMR to be leaps and bounds more skillful than the Reach DMR or 3 BR (from practise- again, I haven't watched the video).
Consistency in Gunplay: Halo 4 wins this by far. Halo 3's BR and Carbine spread was very apparent and often disrupted gameplay and Halo Reach's bloom was just, well, lolReachy. Not to mention Halo 3's bullet travel (though I believe bullet travel is good for LAN) was pretty bad for online consistency.
Melee and Grenades: Halo 4 does melee better than 3 and Reach. The melee lunge is greatly decreased from 3, and bleedthrough is back, putting it ahead of default Reach. Grenades are clearly done better than Reach- they're no longer mini nukes (though theoretically this could have just been fixed by making better maps so grenades in general would have been harder to properly place). Halo 3's grenades however, are quite well done, and bouncing seems to work better there.
Movement and Maneuverability: Halo 4's movement settings seem to be around the same as Halo 3 (and leaps and bounds above Reach, even with the TU as movement acceleration doesn't play a role). However in terms of maneuverability, I'm not sure. It's highly dependant on the map design, but Haven seems to have quite a few trick spots and novel jumps- not necessarily saying that it's more than the others (also take into account the others have been explored for a few years whereas 4's has been seen for a few months) but that it's on par.
Glitches: Halo 4 is currently the worst by far for this. Super grenade throws, BXRs (though they seem to do nothing), and potential super jumps (though they've only been tested in Spartan Ops). However, most of these glitches don't generally break gameplay (a la Halo 2).
Armor Abilities: lmao@Halo4andReach. That's all.
I agree there's more to gameplay than just 2 aspects, but if you think about it, those are the two aspects that matter most in 1 V 1 battles.
Core gameplay:
