I mean, what is there to hate?
Firstly, the game gives you UNLIMITED environments. Bored of travelling along the same path? Why don't you make a detour over that hill to your right? Why don't you keep going straight rather than turning at the corner? There's always something to find when you go off the tracks and explore, and isn't that what you guys have wanted from games? Halo 4 has kill boundaries, but you loved Halo CE's expanded environments achieved through glitching. This is no different!
Next, you're not restricted by anything! Don't you just hate it in racing games where you crash into a wall and have to waste time reversing and getting back on track? In Big Rigs, that's completely ignored. You can go through as many walls and buildings as you like without being held back by lazy developers trying to get you to play the game the way they tell you to play.
Additionally, the game is immensely rewarding. You guys seem to love being spoonfed this stuff and being told you're so amazing, so the "You're Winner!" screen must be the best thing ever for you. You're praised for playing the game well, showing that the developer REALLY cares about their players and is immensely grateful that you are playing their game. And don't worry about losing; the developer made sure that their were no opponents to get you frustrated!
Finally, the storyline. There is none! This means that you don't need to read up on any expanded fiction. You wanted to be spoonfed? This is even better! There is no story for your simple minds to have the trouble of remembering.
This developer showed that they know how to please the fans, yet I feel that they don't get enough credit for doing so. So, why don't you give them some credit, and show your love by discussing the greatness that is Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing?
Discuss.
