Captain K Mart - doesnt afraid of anything

I was thinking about getting it. I've seen a couple of Sjin's episodes of it, but I was looking after the opinion of people that I don't always agree with on everything.

Did you like Blood Money? Because it's not Blood Money.

Yes, I know my username is the 330th sequel to a terrible movie. You don't have to keep telling me.

I rented it and it got a little plain after a while.

Never played it. This would be my first one.

"I will show you how a true Prussian officer fights!"

"And i will show you where the iron crosses grow..."

- "Cross of Iron"

Its really not that great.

What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

It is good but not as good as Blood Money. I do love contracts mode, though. You can select your targets add a backstory to it and compete with other players with your contract.

It's a pretty good game, but it gets stale after a while.

You'll probably enjoy it more then. It's a fairly good game on its own. But I'd wait until it drops to $40 at least.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Get Blood Money instead. It's the far better Hitman game, and game in general.

Absolution is more Splinter Cell than Hitman, and takes a big step back from what made the franchise great by the time of Blood Money. Missions are heavily structured rather than free environments, it's a shooter, there is a "right," way to pull off hits now, the rating system lost all diversity, the story got far too much emphasis, the gameplay is actually fairly far removed from the others in the series.

If it had been reskinned as a Skyfall tie-in game it would have been good. It's disappointing compared to previous installments in its franchise though.

I'd actually suggest Absolution first and here's why: If you play Blood Money first you're going to end up disappointed with Absolution because it's so stripped of what made Blood Money great. Whenever you play Blood Money it'll be a fantastic game. Your enjoyment of Absolution will probably be better without constantly comparing it to Blood Money as you and I did.
