It doesn't mean anything. Even during normal REM sleep, your breathing grows faster, your heart begins to rapidly beat, and a wave of brain activity floods your brain, especially the occipital lobe (The part of the brain that deals with sight). If something exciting in any way happens in a dream that would naturally increase your heart rate and respiratory rate in real life, it's only natural for it to increase it proportionally in REM sleep. oh I see. thanks!It's essentially like wet dreams, minus the sensual aspect.
