I'm from cincy.

you bengals fans are pathetic. hell cincy teams in general, your fanbase sucks ass. i never understood why i never see a bengals jersey, or UC clothing until they start winning.

btw, AFC North was a bigger joke this year than the AFC West and thats coming from a Broncos fan.

I agree that the fans in cincy are -blam!- pathetic, but I'm not like them. You see where I come from, we know how to be true fans.

I don't think any of you have ever even lived in Cincinnati. I have for 17 years and we've been good for about 3-4 years of my life time. I've seen jerseys every year and constant spirit, of course more bandwagonners show up when the team starts winning. However, Cincinnatians like those in Cleveland are always recognized as supporting their crappy ass team.

Oh Yes!

What's a reason to hate the Bengals?

Hamilton County? Because cool, I live in it as well and it doesn't make you the speaking voice of Bengals fans. And I don't think you lived here in 05, 09, 11, or 12 then. Bengals fans have always been consistent and have cheered them on even during the worst of seasons.

He said the Bengals have been good for only 3-4 years, which is true. When we had our playoff game with Palmer and Ochocinco, and then now with Dalton and Green. I haven't lived in Ohio for 6 years, but I remember lots of Bengals fans. Maybe Hamilton just sucks?

Cincinnati is in Hamilton County, I live within Colerain/Green Townships and the city isn't too far away. People always are there for the Bengals, Butler is too dead from tornadoes and extreme weather so the Bengals fans probably all got run out or killed.

Edit: Oh, well 05 they would've won the Super Bowl at least if Palmer wasn't taken out. '09 was a fluke and I'd say this year we're pretty elite.

Woah woah woah we are not elite. Our defense, maybe. But our offense was atrocious and we also had a lot of stupid plays. Especially that 56 yard field goal attempt.

As big of a Bengals fan as I am, even I don't believe that. Yeah sure, the '05 team was pretty solid, but no way they would have won the super bowl. Maybe a decent playoff run, but not the superbowl.

'09 wasn't really a fluke. The problem was that they couldn't keep their damn heads in the game. That was when Palmer really started to cry about not being allowed to leave cincy and ochocinco's immaturity was the worst that year. If they had kept their heads focused for more than half the season, they could have made some noise in the playoffs that year.

If it took my team 7 years to get back into the playoffs, I'd make a thread about it too.

Call me Rdog, not RdOG or RdOG1507. I made that username when I thought it was cool to use alternating capital and lowercase letters...

The Bengals will do absolutely nothing in the playoffs, but enjoy it. I'm a Titans fan. Sundays suck for me. But I'm glad Steelers are out. That's awesome.

Actually 4 years if you count '09 when the Bengals swept the division, or 6 years if you count last year.

The Steelers were the only challenge in the '05 playoffs and they beat us because of that injury.

And '09 was, the Jets clobbered us twice in a row with our best efforts both times.

And I think people will be surprised in the Wild Card game with maybe an upset. With how our defense has been and how bad the Patriots' defense is, the Bengals have a chance. Following that win would be the Texans who have been going downhill. Then Denver would legally butthurt us.

True, I forgot about the Jets in '09. To be fair though, that regular season blowout lose to the Jets was a fluke. The playoff game was a one-possession game that the Jets got lucky on because Palmer threw a bad pass in the redzone.
