So the "most powerful nation on earth" which by the way is equipped with the most disciplined and powerful military doesn't have enough weapons to defends itself from a foreign country?

Stupid.
Most disciplined? Really? When was leaking secrets for video game developers to use considered disciplined?
Don't even try, go pursue your desk job.

The US has a lot of anti-missile systems both on ships and on the mainland.

So we would just use those troops and installations to either shot the missile down or destroy the warhead

Door Kickers Inc.

It would be shot down via either the Patriot missile defense system or some other missile.

The Navy would pick up on it quickly and have it within 5 minutes. Our ABMDS is ridiculous.

ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY CHROME.

We have literally thousands of anti missile defense systems from Patriot Missiles to CIWS systems. I don't think it'd be possible to be hit by an ICBM.

Basically, it's a blog of mine that focuses on military and policy related issues. Feel free to bookmark it and PM me any ideas you have to improve its quality. I hope you enjoy it!

AEGIS ballistic missile defense system, PATRIOT missile defense system, ramming it with another ballistic missile, etc.

Unless they fire 150 missiles, the United States would be okay.

Aegis BMD is pretty badass.

Aegis/Patriot spam is the only real defense, and they need to be prepared 24/7.

Lasers in their current state are too weak, fighters are out of range, AA is also out ranged by ICBM's, etc

[UNINTELLIGIBLE > INSUBORDINATION(?)]

After the US withdrew from theABM Treaty in 2002, I would imagine that our anti-missile capabilities would have definitely increased.

Steam name should be something similar

There is no extremely effective counter-missile technology.

Surely we have something capable of stopping an ICBM. People have worked on this for about 60 years. I'm sure we have some sort of missile capable of taking things out in the upper atmosphere.

If all else fails, and the ICBM hits, the United States would be within its right to use its vast second strike capabilities. North Korea would be toast.
