Video games are created for a limited number of reasons and making money is indeed a big one. But what about the games that are here to provide a break from real life?

How are you supposed to relax when you turn on your system and hear nothing but hate and exposition on how your escape outlet is inferior to another?

Does it really matter?
Is me playing an RPG not giving me the same amount of "freedom" as much as a shooter might? Is a racing game too realistic to be considered a way of relaxation?

I don't get it. Video games as far as Im concerned, are not problems intended to make you more aware of the real world but experiences that are meant to enjoyed.

What do you think?

To put it simply, "Haters gonna hate".

Religion breeds hate

When I play video games, I enjoy them 99 percent of the time. Regardless of how real they are, they don't effect my game experiences in a negative way.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

You're right OP, don't hate the game, hate the player.
