Ignore my gamertag. It's actually Dragonzzilla.

What would you introduce into the missions?

Humpty Dumptys everywhere, replacing grunts. To give Palmer the satisfaction of being literal.

I mean it in my bio. I'm not going to join your clan.

I detest taking orders by some "high-ranking" guy who is just power hungry to control people's avatars over a video game.

Missions that actually are relevant to the story established into the cinematic cutscene at the start.

Are you Vermon Supreme? Someone should make you president! Or King-Lord-Boss-Guy of the entire world.

I seriously don't get why they had Majestic and Crimson as different teams.

  • 12.24.2012 12:26 AM PDT

Roland would run ops because he's hilarious. Also instead of Crimson it would be Noble team because Noble Six got off reach like a boss.

Also all missions would have a cinematic with your spartan in them at the beginning. So you actually feel like it's you in there.

More varied locations and objectives.

Playing on Ragnorak or campaign bits isn't very fun. Neither is pressing buttons over and over.

Maybe punish dying somehow, since you just get infinite lives there isn't much point in trying.

They can't always be related, we are Spartans doing various missions, not some Saviors of the Galaxy that do all the big jobs like stopping 10 Covenant Supercarriers.

We aren't quite recruits but we aren't that high either. Crimson is just a normal Spartan Squad doing relatively normal missions, and sometimes getting involved in the big stuff. Yet there will still be the normal missions because we are a normal Spartan Squad.

And I actually like that for a change. We are a normal team of Spartans that require support, backup, ordinance. It makes sense and is a nice change of pace.

You won't be the one on the Infinity shooting the cannon at a generator, instead you will be doing the relatively smaller job of placing a tracker on it. That's not a bad thing.

Beat me to it.

  • 12.24.2012 12:30 AM PDT

-I was here

More variety in mission objectives.(less buttons; add secure drop zone objective, demolition objectives, escort objectives, etc)
more map variety.(no maps from previous episode in next episode, more different types of maps, less arena type maps to prevent circular objective locations, larger maps, not using the same map twice in a row unless mission path is drastically different i.e. first time, you're pushing to capture the objective, second time, you're defending against reinforcements or visiting a different area of the map)
make mission quality more like campaign and less like a challenge mode.
add boss fights.

Episode 2: We bring the artifact aboard the Infinity and yet none of the missions deal with this idea.

"What is better - to be born good, or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?"

"The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world."

Roland replaces Palmer
Stacker replaces Miller and Dalton
Include broadsword missions
Include friendly elites (Arby)
Include some legitimate stealth/sniper missions
Include firefight

Variety. Also make the missions have something to do with the episodes. It honestly feels like I'm trying to follow two different story lines. And the second one is just menial tasks that have nothing to do with what is going on on the infinity.

Episode 2 is when it starts to become a plot point, but the episode itself never really dwells on it at all.
