Subject: What is better?

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Which is better in your eyes? To you like giving gifts or receiving them?

I used to like getting gifts, but now enjoy giving more.

I think ever since my nephew was born I've changed perspective, I gave him a little teddy bear for christmas last year and he hasn't left it alone all year, gotta say, that's more rewarding than getting some gift certificate.

Aren't they the same, depending on the point of view?

I love the appreciation received from giving them more now.

Remember kids: when Uncle Delta tells you he has sweeties, he isn't lying.

Now get in the van.

I dislike both. All pretty pointless if you ask me

in·dif·fer·ence
the fact or state of being indifferent; lack of care or concern and empathy demonstrated by an absence of emotional reactions.

I love giving gifts. That's why tomorrow, I'm going to give my dad and our family friend a Christmas card, one for each. I know it's not much, but it's the thought that counts.

I'm listeni- Oh wait I don't give a -blam!- what you have to say.

I hate receiving gifts

  • 12.24.2012 9:04 AM PDT

I suck at giving people gifts they would like... so yeah I still like to receive.

Hehehehe.

Receiving gifts, given that I hate buying them. Nothing worse than trying to decide what would make a good present.

  • 12.24.2012 9:05 AM PDT

Giving Gifts, I love seeing the reactions of the gifts I give to people; They're so joyful and happy.

  • 12.24.2012 9:05 AM PDT

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

I grew up with relatively little in the way of money, so I spent a lot of my youth being upset at the fact that I could very rarely give gifts to anyone on my own dime. Once I started working and was able to afford such things, I really began to enjoy giving gifts.

I love receiving gifts, but nothing beats the good feeling of giving gifts.

I'm bad at giving gifts.

I shop right before Christmas because if I buy earlier, I get excited, start accidently leaving subtle hints, and give away what my brilliant present idea was.

I like putting thought into giving a really good gift. I hate just giving out gift cards.

Humbug.

I want to say that I prefer giving, but the fact of the matter is that by default, humans are selfish and greedy. If you sincerely enjoy giving more than recieving, then I admire you.

EDIT: To answer your question though, I like both to a point, but I always feel terribly selfish when opening my gifts. (This may be seen as a contradiction, and that's fine.)

Giving.

As in, I work tirelessly to upload Halo 4 videos, expecting nothing, not even followers. Just a bunch of new videos putting the things that I showed into practice.

I agree that all presidents should serve 2 terms. 1 in office and 1 in prison

I am the same way, I get too giddy wanting to see their reaction.

There's not many things better than knowing you gave someone the perfect gift they were hoping for. Receiving gifts is nice too, but I just get more satisfaction from giving.
