Gaming is well known for developing plots, characters, and conflict and one the most interesting elements in gaming is the Anti-hero. Someone who has unclear motives and can be unclear and are usually darker characters in the story.

So flood, what are your favorite anti heroic characters in gaming?

I'm a fan of Shadow the Hedgehog, Travis, and GARY MOTHAF**KIN OAK!

Without The Flood, I wouldn't know what an opinion is.

I'll agree a bit but Shadow The Hedgehog really fleshed the character out.

There's a “U” and “I” in union but just an “I” in my beliefs

Saren from Mass Effect was great. For a while I was wondering why there wasn't a chance to agree with him.

You could claim The Illusive Man, but you have the opportunity to agree with him at points - it comes down to a much more clear cut "with him or not", and for me, it was the latter.

Also, Faith from Mirror's Edge. She's really just in it to save her sister.

Kane from Kane and Lynch. John Marston is debatable as to whether he was a hero or anti-hero, along with pretty much all of the GTA main characters, but all of Rockstar's characters were amazing really.

"What are we holding on to, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

Why hasn't anyone said Geralt, from The Witcher? I thought his character was very well developed.

"Apparently people don't like the truth, but I do like it; I like it because it upsets a lot of people. If you show them enough times that their arguments are bull-blam!-, then maybe just once, one of them will say, 'Oh! Wait a minute I was wrong.' I live for that happening. Rare, I assure you."-Lemmy of Motorhead
