I really can't think of a single one. I think Ocarina of Time is an almost perfect game, but I can see how it would be flawed in the eyes of another. But there you have it, OoT is my candidate for the closest thing to video game perfection.
Although I can't think of a game that could be universally adored, there are games that have this "seniority", if you will. Even if you don't like these games, you best bet you like a game that was heavily influenced by them (some of these only apply to their respective genre):
Super Mario Bros 1 & 3
The Legend of Zelda
Mega Man
Castlevania
Metroid and Super Metroid
Super Mario World
Super Mario 64
Halo CE
Doom and Doom II
Wolfenstein 3D
Diablo also gets brownie points due to the fact that the loot and randomization systems have been emulated time after time.
