I've heard numerous stories about them screwing up or just being plain stupid.
For me, I ordered a cool gift for my sister two weeks ago for Christmas. It shipped from Dallas, TX to Philadelphia, PA then to Charlotte, NC (Where I live). Why it didn't just ship straight from Dallas to Charlotte is beyond me, and when it reached Philadelphia it just sat there for five days.
Well it finally got to Charlotte this morning, but it's too late for a delivery before Christmas. I'd go pick it up myself since it's 15 minutes down the road, but the USPS has strict protocol and won't let me pick it up while it's in transit. UPS or Fed Ex would be happy to let me pick it up myself... *Sigh*
Anyone else have problems with the USPS?
The reason why they ship it from place to place is because they don't always have a truckload full of packages going to Charlotte from Dallas.
But nonetheless, I don't like USPS. I actually sold a golf club once and USPS "lost" it, so I had to pay back the buyer all his money. It pissed me off.
