Lol what?...

I bought a prebuilt from Cyberpower that was well under $1000 and can run most games on high/max settings.

OP. If I were you, I would buy this.

This is my current computer right now and I bought it recently. It's a little bit over $1000 but it's totally worth the price. This thing is like a race car.

And this alone would run these games pretty good?

Yes, I can almost max Planetside 2 on my GTX 560ti and i5-2500k

The 660ti is faster than a 560ti

While the i7 is better, you'll probably never need it, the i5 is plenty.

Ok just trying to save as much as I can.

  • 12.24.2012 1:15 PM PDT

Spent 700 on a great build that plays everything on High and most things on Ultra including new mouse and keyboard and 2 250GB HDDs and a 2TB HDD with 8GB RAM

It was lacking an extra 150 dollars to be perfection.

i3 2100 to i5 2500 CPU and 550 Ti to 560 Ti and you should be set for literally more than a Decade.

Gigabyte Z77-DS3H
8GB (2x4) RAM
i3 2100 (upgrade to i5 2500k)
Thermaltake Midtower Case
650 Watt PSU
My 3 Hard Drives (you only really need one)
EVGA GTX 550Ti (Upgrade to 560 Ti)

Done. I spent extra on K&M so if you have them already that's some money saved. Monitor not included in the price I spent but you can get a good one for 100 or maybe as low as like 75-80.

An i7 would be a waste of money if all you're doing is gaming.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.” – Psalms 46:1-3
