Stay thirsty my friends.

1st: When Chief was knocked out and sucked into the planet, why did he survive that crash from space?

2nd: When chief detonated the nuke, HOW could he live? Cortana couldn't have mustered up a sheild like that in such short time like but it's there! That's impossible and adding on, Cortana is in her final stage of rampancy or should I say clone.

How 343? HOW?

The same way he survived the fall in 3.

He landed near the charred remains of one of Johnson's cigars that were onboard the FuD and the smoke healed him.

I was under the impression that Master Chief survived the nuke by being Composed, and that he didn't become a Promethean because he downloaded onlyonewhocansavetheday.dll from a ghost.

The world is not beautiful: And that, in a way, lends it a sort of beauty.

~Kino's Journey

He's survived falls like that before

343 didn't explain the hardlight, in fact, they stuffed up the explanation so bad that it feels like they ran out of time somehow(just pretend he throws the nuke and then get wrapped in hardlight and the hole disappears)

1. He's survived crashing into planets before as have most Spartans(from outer atmosphere).
2.Ship wide teleportation network ala Halo CE, teleport+hardlight barrier kept him alive.

I've got a fan!

Why didn't the Didact just get the Space Eagles to fly the Composer to Earth? It would have saved him so much trouble.

You're so quick to pull the "Troll" card. How is posting plot holes about the Hobbit (Or Halo 4) a troll thread?

Because all reasonable (and unreasonable) arguments and questions were answered long ago, and yet some people that were asking the questions keep bringing them up after they've been answered.

Because everyone on the entire planet was present for the singular debate that was held on the internet for these topics right?

The objective of war is not to die for your cause. It is to make your enemies die for theirs.

While master chief was crawling, Cortana could have been directing the hardlight bridges energy in his shield and when he blew the nuke, she could have rapidly expanded it around him to make the shield you seen in the cutscene. He survived the fall from space because Didact was the one controlling the gravity well and he could have somehow broken chiefs fall. He could have been controlling chiefs' entire descent without his knowledge. Stop trying to make Halo 4 look bad. All it takes to solve the plotholes is a little thinking.

  • 12.24.2012 2:46 PM PDT

Chief survived a fall from orbit in Halo 3 it's nothing new, also 0.1 of a second is a long tome for an AI (as stated in Contact Harvest) and cortana had at least .3 of a second to pull up that shield.

And yet none of these things can be substantially argued at all, you're literally making things up. They were definitely plot holes. Stop trying to defend obvious faults with conjecture, it only makes YOU look bad.

Shields were down.

Shielding isn't the Cruisers only protection, it is also protected by thick armor.

This is a Covenant warship we're talking about, one archer missile cannot take the whole thing out.

Of course not. But it's trolling if the same answered arguments are being repeated by a single user, as I have seen.
