How prepared are you for the inevitable zombie infection? Here we share useful information to surviving in the zombie-ridden post-apocalyptic world. Would you try to find a group, or got it alone? Hunker down, or go nomadic?
Here's what I would try and include in my zombie survival kit:
An external frame hiking backpack
A lightweight mummy-style sleeping bag
A lghtweight, mesh hammock
One spare shirt and pair of pants
At least two liters of water
Flint and steel
Canned foods, or if I can find them, army ration meals
Duct tape
A swiss army knife, or other multitool
A personal first aid kit
A crank-powered flashlight
Water purification tablets
A machete or hatchet, or anything similar I can find.
My plan at first would be to search my town and the surrounding neoghborhoods, scavenging and looking for survivors. If I could find any, I would, of course, become the leader, and take my group to the nearest Costco. There would be plenty of food there, including nonperishables after the produce and meat is gone or expired. Plus weapons in the forms of lawn care equipment, golf clubs, baseball bats, etc. A heavy chainlink fence runs around mine, and there are thick garage-like doors to keep unwanted visitors out. Not to mention tons of cars in the parking lot, and even a big gas station to power the generators. We could live there for a long time I think.
