I've got this thing called an opinion, you should look into it.

"Oh, I didn't like Halo 4, therefore 343i sucks and anyone who likes them is an idiot."

/flood logic
"HALO 4 IS THE BEST HALE GAME EVAR AND 343 IS BETTER THAN BUNGIE AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT YOUR A HATER

/fanboy logic

It's a two-way street buddy.

It's a street he never suggested he went down. Please tell me: where did he, or I for that matter, say Halo 4 was the best game ever? And those who denied it were haters?

My problem has NEVER been with people hating the game. what annoys me is when people hate something--anything--for very stupid reasons, or otherwise use stupid logic to back up their position. Sort of like what you just said, warping what people say to fit your position. I think that's called a Strawman.

It was a small fleet that and they were only battling the infinity and a few other small frigates. No one's in denial. You're either extremely stupid or just a bad troll.
Remind me why Promethians have random ass crates full of weapons lying around everywhere?

Because they were an army, and I'm sure they needed weapons?
Besides, that was a gameplay mechanic most likely.
It really doesn't make sense if you think about it. Promethians are supposed to be some sort of super advanced AI, and yet they need to use non integrated weapon systems that can somehow be used by non-Promethians.

And the same logic doesn't apply to sentinel beams?

Promethean weapons were weapons systems used by the Forerunner soldiers as well--real soldiers, not machines. Plus there's the simple fact that a human mind is more accustomed to holding a weapon rather than being one. As Prometheans are human minds....

Goat was famous. Irie was infamous. Gh0st was FaMaS.

My stats in Halol 4

Typical Waypoint post.
no it's "its got to go" you wouldn't say the "it is got to go" would you?

Because those weapons need a supply of ammo since thats what they use?
Knights, dog turds and Flying -blam!-s never reload, they never run out of ammo, and there are still random Promethian weapons lying around. Not Forerunner, Promethian. Think about that for a second.

Again, gameplay mechanic. I'm pretty sure Elites didn't reload in Reach either.

And there is no such thing as a Promethean weapon. Only Forerunner weapons, that the Prometheans simply adopted.

Thats just gameplay. The covenant use weapons with a limited amount of ammo and they never have to reload nor do they run out.
The point

Your head.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it was said somewhere that the Forerunner arsenal in Halo 4 was designed specifically by the Prometheans to be mass produced to fight the Flood. Though that may just be my memory.

Bam! Said the lady

I am of the opinion that 343 did great with this game. I had a blast with the campaign and multiplayer.

The ONLY thing they retconned was Chief's armor. Otherwise, according to the books and the first 3 games, everything is correct. BUNGIE destroyed the fiction with Reach. THEY retconned everything. And you know what? That didn't bother me. It was fun. And it fit in with everything that came before. Game-wise.

People liked this game. Get over it.

All Forerunner weapons were designed to fight the Flood eventually, but that doesn't make them exclusive to the Prometheans. The Prometheans were just one type of Forerunner soldier--the weakest type, actually, as far as I can tell.

For example, you see a squadron of Forerunner Warriors using Light Rifles on humans in the Terminals. You also see Librarian shoot Didact with one later on.

Really? Because with those combat skins I doubt the weapons would do much. Then again, the beam was a different color...

I also think it should be noted that gameplay doesn't equal canon. Canonically, a hard light beam going through you really should go clean through you in one shot. A scattershot should vaporize you in one shot as well simply because that's how they work.

But they're held back for the sake of gameplay. Otherwise it'd be hugely suspicious why a light rifle takes exactly as many rounds to finish a Spartan's shields as a BR.

In terms of narrative construction his implication is actually correct. Reach was fundamentally flawed from the ground up, from the very minute they tried to make the mythical Spartan IIIs seem human.

It amuses me that you took offense to Odorous's post when all he did was parrot SilentA's logic back at him. I don't think you have the right to lecture about fallacies when you are defending the person who used them first.

Reach is bad, and no it's not but you only have 15 games played on Halo 3 so it basically is.

343i retconned art designs. Bungie retconned canon events.

343i>Bungie in terms of all round single player narrative

Mindless, zombie-like fanboys detected. You do realize there are more plotholes than lines of script 343 wrote themselves in Halo 4 right?
You calling them fanboys is kind of ironic.

How were you able to get all that from "Says the Reach kiddy"?

Besides, I know you have legitimate reasons for not liking Reach. I was talking on how I've never seen him post an intelligent argument before.
