The bible is the best book Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I AM A PROUD CHRISTIAN. HALO IS AWESOME BUT GOD IS MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!
Did you knew that JESUSdied for you?
Google the difference between possible and possiblity.
Imortality is not possible today and have yet to see proof that it will eve be. Even in star trek people get old...
Prove to me immortality is possible otherwise you are only asking me to have faith on some discovery channel documentray you vaguely remember...

Now that BS then nothing is impossible because it hasn't been "achived yet"
Imortality isn't a reality so deal with it.
Flight was't possible until flying machines were invented. Tell ponce de leon that immortality is "possible"
Teleportation is also possible under that defimition amd I call Bs on that.

You can't call something possible until it is achieved? Tell that to Werner von Braun. He knew space flight was possible from his knowledge of physics and science. After building the V2 rockets, he practically built the US space program from hardly anything.
Me posting proof of a human becoming immortal is like giving you proof in 1950 of the lunar landings. You know it could very well happen based upon what is already known to science, but it hasn't happened yet.
Also, you are right, old age isn't the only cause of death. But isn't getting shot in the head the same thing as dying of old age when it comes down to the definition of death? It is like crashing a car and then having another car sit in water for 50 years. The gears stop turning. Either way the human body is immobile and the brain cells are slowly disintegrating.
Oh, and in case that wasn't what you meant by your statement, let me add more. A person can plan to shoot a specific person. They can also run into a room with a shotgun and fire upon several complete strangers and kill them in a complete coincidence. You can't derive "fate" or "destiny" from that.
You don't understand what I am saying.
We can know things are possible before they are done because of what we ALREADY KNOW. That has nothing to do with everything being possible. If I had the knowledge I could give you some sort of extremely long explanation of how the effects of gravity vs the propulsion of burning fuel in a rocket could send an object out of the atmosphere. All I would need for that is the mathematical information, which Werner von Braun would have had before he launched his first rocket into space.
