I once read a childrens book, where the main characters little brother dies. And his uncle gives him some wise words on grieving: Basically, grief is like a fresh bowl of pasta, placed in front of you, and you cant move on until you eat it. You can either eat it when it's fresh and warm, or you let it sit, and become cold. Either way is fine, but, you have to eat the pasta sometime, no matter how crap it is.
Basically OP, it's going to suck. But, you can and will move on eventually. When you do is up to you, but it's going to happen. You just have to choose the time.
