death has been such a constant part of my life that I expect it, almost.

This pretty much. Lost more friends than I care to count, I just learned to not think about the death and think more on the happier moments and how blessed I was to have known such people.

I'm gonna finish it. Just like Jigga did to the pyramid.

Death is part of life, we do not know when it will come but you must be prepared for it. Just go on about your life, it gets easier.

13.72 billion years in the making.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

The Flood is a relatively obvious outlet for people to express their emotions anonymously. You shouldn't be surprised whatsoever.

Skwid

Just don't be like me. Last one I lost (which was my best friend/ex-girlfriend) I became one hell of a wreck. For 2 weeks, I didn't eat much, lost 15 pounds, and slept maybe a total of 8 hours when my body finally collapsed from exhaustion. I just sat around drowning myself in memories and thinking about her.

So, my condolences to you. I hope you can at least enjoy the holidays regardless.

Needless to say, I still am. Why post it to an internet forum when you can get condolences from friends or relatives instead? I've never had to deal with the pain of losing a friend but if I did, I wouldn't be posting about it on an internet forum. But I guess people deal with death in diffrent ways and if talking with Anon about passing away makes them feel better, who am I to deny that?

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

You have my sorrow.
Personally, I try to outright avoid the topic if possible. It can hurt too much sometimes.

Merry Christmas!

Man, I should be so lucky. I mean, sure you lost a "friend", but you're probably gonna get something sweet out of his will! :D

the hell are you talking about?

  • 12.25.2012 3:44 PM PDT

"Life is constantly fleeting from your grasp even from the very day it's bestowed upon you, but the shadow of death is always there, waiting for its chance to take you away."

"Even though many may not think so, ignorance and innocence are one and the same. The only difference is that one sounds nicer."

"I once knew a man who spent his entire life contemplating where we go after our death....it's a shame he realized it a second too late to tell anyone."

My condolences. It's never a pleasure to lose a friend.

had a huge heart.

Anyways...

I'd say, smoking cigars isn't the best thing to do if your friend died from cardiac arrest. Smoking can lead to things like that.
