Subject: Question about Steam

So, I have been buying games from the Holiday flash sales on Steam. Some of them I can run, others I can't, since my pc is not a gaming pc and from 2009. I am buying them hoping to have them tied to my account forever.

Basically, I am buying for the future (when I get a better PC, idk when) and want to know if this is a good move. Clearly, the Flood has people more knowledgable about Steam than me.

Yeah, this is a good move if you were planning on buying them later anyways.

The games will always be tied to your account as long as they don't have online season passes and whatnot. In such a case you may need to contact the makers of the game, however this is unlikely.

Well, if you know you're going to get a better computer in the near future, then this is logical.

Red vs Blue Fan. Doc is the best!

That is a good move. Once you get a better PC, all the games you bought will still be on your Steam account.

Ok, this is good to hear as I have had steam for a while but never used it for any actual purchases.

Thanks.
