I'd go for the Sennheiser. I don't know much about headphone brands, but from those pictures, I can see that Sennheiser cover your ear, while Bose sit on your ear.
Not only do ear covering headphones cancel out most of the outside sound, making them better for music, they are also more comfortable.That particular model of Bose Headphones actually has technology that cancels out background noise.
This is a difficult question OP. I have a friend who swears by his QC3s but unless you try them you can't really judge them.
The HD 598s are quite well known for having nice all around balanced sounds with nice mids. Some people say they lack bass but others say it's just right.
