I want Halo 3 back how it was.

God I love this game. I haven't played it in awhile then I started thinking about last Christmas when I got it. First fantasy game I have ever liked.

Just played, didn't die once until the -blam!- Moonlight Butterfly. Didn't have a bow. Neither did my phantoms. Lost 25 humanity and a mere ten thousand souls. Level 36. God I'm pissed...

Discuss irritating or amazing moments in Dark Souls. Also: DARK SOULS 2!

Mythical Group

There is no greater catharsis than arguing on the Flood.

I have a hard time believe you didn't die until you got to the moonlight butterfly. I mean, you've at least made the rookie mistake of overleveling. :P

On the moonlight butterfly, get witch Beatrice. Her summon sign is hidden under a bush in the tower or something.

Great game, have sunk about 200 hours into it, could easily do more.

The moonlight Butterfly is the easiest boss ever even without a bow and arrow, even I find that and I am an awful Dark Souls player.

Proud Spartan II, COG soldier, Hero of time, and crowbar wielding scientist.

I beat the moonlight butterfly on my first try. :P

But those four kings, man...

Those four kings...

Anyway, my favorite moment is definitely the final boss, and I'm somewhat suspicious if Dark Souls 2 after the director of Dark Souls "left". *cough*gotfired*cough*

I really didn't die. I hid, attacked, hid, attacked. To kill the Black Knights I attack, run away, sneak up on them as they return to original spot, repeat. To kill the Titanite Demon I wasted 96 arrows on him. That is why I had no arrows. I still had to stab him a few times. I also always get a few phantoms to clear an area before attack the boss.

I actually tried to get the witch but she wasn't there. I used her before a while ago during my first few times(Haven't beat the game yet, lost interest during summer).

You have to be human to summon NPC's to help you. This also explains why you haven't encountered other player's summon signs yet...

Have put tons and tons of hours into it with multiple challenge playthroughs. Some of the hardest have been only fist weapons, and the ENB challenge I'm doing now (just beat 4 kings!) The EpicNameBro Challenge

But I was human. I had a -blam!- ton of humanity too...I have encountered other NPCs...even jackasses who mod have invaded but I just run in circles and they leave.

Is the challenge as -blam!- up as the 8 sniper Elites challenge on Requiem (as in, does it spam at you high ranking enemies with power weapons in an open field with useless cover and not enough weapons)?

Or does it make it look merciful?

I can't stand Halo's bad enemy AI anymore. I need to look into other games and Dark Souls looks and sounds like the best.

I don't believe you for a second.

Also, great game.

I'm very much looking forward to Dark Souls 2.
