>343i's first game
As a team, but not their first game period. It's not like they hired all their employees out of Highschool.

I keep trying to get into the multiplayer but I just can't. Other then that the campaign was nothing special and Spartan Ops gets boring very quickly since it is the same maps over and over again.

true, but it's the company's first game, they had no previous games to rely on. Sure they fixed some stuff for reach but that's bungie's game, It's 343i's game so it's going to feel different than a bungie game

  • 12.25.2012 2:31 PM PDT

I'm bored with it.

Played 3 missions. Got bored with it. Forgot about it.

Pretty much this for me.

*raises hand*

I do. I'll be playing it until Halo 5 comes out.

  • 12.25.2012 2:57 PM PDT

I still like.

Requiem is enjoyable unless you're trying to take advantage of it's assets. then it just becomes frustrating, moving crates around, delaying checkpoints, time consuming -blam!-.

Composer is enjoyable unless you play it the way it was meant to. The wave battle would be enjoyable if it weren't for those Phantoms and their concussion turrets. Camping with the Mantis at the end of the level or avoiding entering it completely is best.

Besides those 2, I can't think of any levels that felt like Halo.

Forerunner has a decent start then it becomes punishing.
Infinity is just trash.
Reclaimer is pretty pathetic given how many sections can be easily skipped.
Shutdown is just not worth mentioning.
And Midnight, let's just say I found it underwhelming.

it's just me against the world

I still play it.

Don't LOL if you aren't L'inOL.

Halo: Reach
Halo 3
Halo ODST

A lot of people might hate me for this but I only really played Halo for the multiplayer. But the Halo 4 multiplayer sucks.

Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lube.

Maybe.

I'm done with that -blam!-.

Life is a journey, if you spend all of it with your nose in your map, you may miss some of the best parts.

The only ones who like Halo 4 here are fanboys.

What makes any game great for me despite its' flaws is that a lot of my friends play it and we always find ways to have fun. Granted the new car smell is gone but still, we improvise. I will never sell this game. =)

Pootis

I love it, I think the campaign was great and has a lot of replayability, and the multiplayer... 2 things. 2 bloody things that ruin everything, guess what those are?

Boltshot
DMR

I simply love Halo 4's multiplayer when no one is using these weapons, but it happens so rarely...

That was easy.

Played the campaign and found it to be rushed, quick, and boring. It was pretty forgetful and 343 butchered a lot of potential with introducing the Forerunners, a race I always found to be mysterious from the other game's hints. Cortana was annoying, Chief was too talkative (too many of his lines felt forced or out of place just for the sake of him to say something), Del Rio was just another stupid Captain with a stick up his ass merely to have any plot keep going, the whole "thing" between Lasky and the Chief was wasted potential, the Marines and other Spartans are damned useless (I found myself more entertained with bashing them and seeing how far they could go. I didn't feel a connection or need for them like in the other Halo games), the Didact was pitifully disappointing, and the whole idea that the Chief was an awesome super soldier just doing his duty was completely ruined by the idea of him "being the culmination of thousands of Forerunner generations of work" or some -blam!-, so now he's treated more like a super hero than a human soldier. That, and 343 took their game too seriously, as I believe somebody has mentioned before and is quite true.

I didn't even bother with the multiplayer.

Stop banning me please.

Multiplayer:

>Instant spawn blows.
>Infinite run and infinite run perk blows.
>Long range AR's need to be nerfed.
>Run needs to be an ability or incredibly nerfed.
>Helmets are terrible
>Weapon sounds and designs and enemy designs and sounds changed for no reason and suck. (Exclude somethings)

IDK, the game isn't bad but it isn't wat it could and should be.

But the most dissapointing thing of all is how they focused so much on graphics, they left out important things bungie always took care of. Sometimes when I throw grenades, they hit invisible edges. That is unacceptable for a Halo game. And the characters don't move as well as they did in reach as far as looks go.

I played it... and I liked it. Please don't hurt me, Flood.

It's far from Halo 3 quality, but so far I think it's a pretty solid game. I've played a few rounds of Big Team and Flood and finished the first two missions. I came in with very low expectations, though, which probably explains why I'm not disappointed.

I agree up until the chief super hero thing

Great game, pretty addicting. Could use some updates and patches though.
