Subject: One of every pokemon vs A billion lions

Pokemon, but Magikarp will die before the battle even starts.

A cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal.

And from FOX, two phantoms were born.

There simply isn't enough biomass to sustain a population of a billion lions. They're going to crash like crazy. Many of the pokemon on the other hand don't need to eat, and can fly or swim, which garuntees that there will be surviving members from their team.

Advantage: Pokemon.
Have you guys never played the games? Just because they can fly doesn't mean they automatically win against ground types...

Yeah because Ground types more often than not have some sort of anti-air defense such as a rock type attack.

Can lions do that?

Wake me, when you need me.

People are not taking it into account that this is a -blam!- billion lions we are talking about. The pokemon would be exhausted before they even killed a million of them.

brb, Christmas dinner is calling my name.

Interesting.

Well still, the combined force of EVERY Pokemon is not going to be an easy takedown. What kind of firepower does Voltron have? I was more of a Transformers kid.

I honestly have no idea. I'm sure Pokemon would honestly win but I'm banking on them seeing one billion lions and saying to themselves, "-blam!- this, let's go 1v1."

600+ Pokemans Vs A billion lions

Lions could decimate approximately half of the Pokemon count in 1v1 combat without outside intervention. Mainly things like Bidoof, Zigzagoon, Surskit, etc.

But the bigger Pokemon such as dragons, starters, and legendaries, etc would be able to do it easily.

The idea is that they could fly to other continents and find food sources that the lions do not have access to, so while the lions kill and devour each other in a horrificly desperate fight for survival, Dragonite sips tea in a park in England.

So now it's against a billion starving lions?

Lions win.

Because when a lion is starving, it sprouts wings and can suddenly catch the tea drinking dragonite

Lions are highly territorial and have no motivation to work together against a common foe. They're kinda stupid, and don't get big picture ideas like "these super powered creatures are going to wipe us out if we don't band together".

Pokemon on the other hand have rudimentary intelligence, are able to seemingly trascend their glaring language barrier, and seem more likely to be able to coordinate their mutual survival.

The pokemon are also more genetically diverse, and will withstand rampant diseases. The same can't be said for the lions, a simple pox could decimate the lion population.

Yea, I've already seen that thread before xD

OT: Palkia/Dialga. They control time and space for darn's sake. No matter how many lions they face if they can use their powers well it's already won for the pokemons...

A billion lions seems like a tough adversary. But keep in mind some of those Pokemon are basically god-level.

Some of those legendaries could kill all the lions, solo. Not much to debate.
