Not much of a story though.

OH FOR THE LOVE OF-.... nope... The tits are a lie. Look for it.

?

This is a basic overview of the story. Keep in mind, teh puma doesn't remember these videos being in order, but screw it, just watch them if you want to.

Also, this man's lore related videos are not restricted to this list either. So if you want more afterwards, just look into the PTD playlist, and some others.

Teh puma's point with this, is that the story/lore behind this game is far better than others think it to be. Much of the fun in this game, is figuring all the events surrounding it out. If people strictly stick to the gameplay, they'll be missing a huge chunk of the experience.

Maybe because I never played Demon Souls.

What are these first person words you speak of?

You don't have to play demon souls to get even half of the things in this game lore wise.

For all questions with answers unknown to you, the proper procedure is to assume the answer is peanut butter.

While that may be true, I'm just going to pretend otherwise.

Dark Souls isn't particularly difficult, especially with practice. It's very easy with a game guide. However, if you choose not to use a guide, the game will force to to experiment, to find what works through trial and error... and many, many deaths. I've experimented with it and used guides for parts I just couldn't grasp. It is quite fun either way. If you're just passing time trying to have some fun, use a guide. If you want to think and figure things out, mash buttons, walk through seemingly endless mazes, and die... until you figure out how not to.

Also, each area is very distinct and interesting. If you like exploring, and don't care at all about beating the game or dying thousands of times, you can just sprint around seeing how far you can get and enjoying the scenery.

"Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."

Since when does every other game 'hold my hand'?
You just don't realize it. Go play Ninja Gaiden Black.
