Protip: Go for gold tip HDMI cables, I use a GE HDMI cable
Don't do this. HDMI cables are all the same quality, and you should never pay more than $5 for an HDMI cable. You can get them online for $1-2.
False, my $5 HDMI was crap, my $20 HDMI is just perfect.
You're wrong. All HDMI cables are rated for HDMI quality, and the only difference is in speed; however, all HDMI cables can at the very least transmit 1080i signal quality, and others (50+ feet or 3D-rated cables) are "high speed". High speed HDMI cables, exactly what you might pay $20-30 for at BestBuy, are available online for around $5. If your $5 cable was bad, then you should have returned it rather than spend quadruple the original amount on what was probably the exact same type of cable.
