Subject: wouldn't it be awesome if BUNGiE referenced us in Destiny?

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

Who the -blam!- is Vinny White?
He's a guy you would find in the Mos Eisley Spaceport.

I'd like to just see a computer screen with b.net pulled up on it, the current b.net and then make it an easter egg where a character says, "Why are you on that old, outdated site?"

I could die happy if they just added that.

It would be cool if they made a thread and you put your username in it and they would put it in the game somewhere. like a persons name( just like a random npc in the game), nickname on the the side of a vehicle, written on walls and stuff like that. That would be amazing, to see your b net username as a random character or whatever.

I would hardly consider anybody who is purely "floodian" a community member. Unless you participate or contribute to Bungie and the community, hulking around the flood talking about your favorite -blam!- is certainly not being a loyal community member.

There are better ways to reference the community (if Bungie wants to) than by using anything from that godforsaken cesspool that is The Flood.

*Sigh* Not this -blam!- again.

The Flood is the most active place on bnet. From what I can see, the Community forum is merely a place where members post repost after repost and try and look clever to impress Bungie. I don't see how anyone can "contribute to Bungie and the community" besides hosting a game night or sending cards to them. And I haven't seen a private group that is even half as active as the Flood, which isn't utterly garbage.

Progo, Shrew, Chryso, all are the same.

There better be a PC in the game that we can use to log into Bnet....

this.

The Flood has its uses, as does the Community Forum.
If someone in the flood only posts on topics about, for example, Taylor Swift, then he is not a true site member.
But the same could go for a person who never ventures out of the manicured confines on the Community Forum.
Give someone a high-five in the Gallery, go nerdist in the Universe Forum, then you are a true community member of Bnet.

Perhaps I was misunderstood, and perhaps too I was a bit vague. I meant in terms of being a worthy honorable mention in a Bungie title. And I don't mean only Community Forum posters are part of the community.

When I say contribute I mean simple things, post in the Mail Sack, take place in once of the many contests, send your cards, speculate on Destiny, submit and idea, host a community event, be a part of said event, ect ect. I believe it is fair to say people who do this are active participating members of the community. The better of which could deserve an honorable mention in a Bungie title. What I meant by "pure "floodian" is members who never do any of this and only come to Bnet to socialize about random unrelated topics in the Flood.

Those are 2 people who should not be cited in the game for their contributions to the community.

It only takes a simple question to change everything.

I think it would be cool if there was a reference to the general community.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

If they did something like that, like a huge wall with the names of hundreds of us on it, that would be amazing.
But how would they determine whose names are on it?
